Short or long-term homelessness can cause a devastating long-term impact on children and adults who can no longer afford to live in their homes or apartments. Our prevention program aims to prevent roughly 85% or more of participants from entering or re-entering shelters and remaining in their homes.
Our services include but are not limited to emergency food and utilities, job training and job placement, mediation, financial counseling, and advocacy. That includes referrals to Public Assistance when applicable, legal, and other supportive services so participants remain housed and stable, avoiding the shelter system. Our main goal is to help keep you in your home. Our highly skilled negotiators can mediate disputes with your landlord or advocate for benefits you may be eligible for as a tenant.
Contact us if you need help remaining in your home, including legal services for foreclosure prevention and welfare fair hearings.
