Who We Are
St. Francis De Sales Foundation (SFDSF) is an independent, publicly supported philanthropic organization established in 2008. Our purpose is to support, enhance, and strengthen the quality of life of children and their families in our community. At SFDSF, we strongly believe in developing leaders who will break the cycle of poverty in their families and effect positive change in their communities. Through our research, it became apparent that first and foremost an individual or a family needs to have a steady location to stay or call home – housing security is one of the leading factors that improve one’s ability to maintain a job, attend school, and maintain good habits that promote optimal health. As such, SFDSF designed programs to address the educational, socioeconomic, and physiologic needs of young adults, young children, and their families.
Mission
St. Francis De Sales’s Mission is to develop and implement sustainable programs that will empower individuals and families to create opportunities for themselves and others.
Our purpose is to perpetuate and expand a stable funding base to finance programs to support, enhance, and strengthen the quality of life of children so they can break the cycle of poverty in their families and effect positive change in their communities
